Artotel surabaya was a low-budget hotel for us. The venue was situated within walking distance some of our favorite tourist spots, like bungkul park:)))

Unique Design and layout. Simple, efficient(restaurant) and clean. Would like to meet the owner and shake her/his hand for job well done.
Mosquitoes on lower floors. Lack of car parking spots in the evening.

regantris surabaya exceeded our expectations on our honeymoon. the modern and artistic aesthetic impressed us, from the lobby to the well-designed room with a beautiful mural. the staff were friendly and went above and beyond, especially Risty, Jerry, and Andriana. overall, an exceptional stay.
breakfast was disappointing

- Modern design of the hall - good choice of drinks - design of the rooms ok, but does not match the public areas - free wifi
- The service in the restaurant had extreme problems with preparing the drinks we have ordered (from the menu, nothing really fancy). They put ballantines instead of baileys to the drink, after complaining we waited another 40 min for the proper drink, after 3-4 reminders... - the guy at the reception didnt know any restaurants in Surabaya, we needed to find out ourselves on the web - we were woken up by the housekeeping in the morning, they wanted to clean up the room when we were sleeping, they woke up literally all guests in the hotel, this was very annoying...

The friendly staff & clean room. The location of the hotel is a bit far from town & tourist spots, also inconvenient to go to shopping malls as it is not in the walking distance.however, we are satisfied overall with this hotel.
A bit small room but tastefully decorated. When u hv more things to store, not so convenient then. Bid luggage is prohibited.

While it wasn't within reach of commercial areas, the location was great for exploring the city. the room was spacious and well-maintained, with essential amenities available. the staff provided a smooth check-in process and excellent service during my stay, from offering assistance in calling a taxi to being friendly and accommodating. the breakfast was also impressive, with a wide range of options to choose from.
The walls were quite thin, and I could hear noise from outside my room.

During my Christmas stay, I had a great time with the cute artsy vibe of the hotel. the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the beer garden and the arty atmosphere. the hotel was located near many tourist attractions, which made it easy to get around.
The staff struggled with English, which made communicating with them challenging. There also seemed to be issues with cleanliness in our room, as the bed sheets had some stains and tears.
